Update from the Quilt Show Co-Chairs
Posted: Aug 17, 2010 – A meeting was convened in August to further discuss our March 2011 Show. A number of topics were covered including locations to show our fabulous Subway Series raffle quilt. A schedule of its tour will be nailed down in the coming month. The Show Book details are being finessed and numerous advertisers have been contacted.

Our committees continue to work with great enthusiasm to make this a truly wonderful showcase of member talent.

Raffle Quilt Unveiled

Print a Page of Bookmarks
Posted: Jun 22, 2010 – Print a page of bookmarks to use and to give to your friends and families! The bookmarks are available in Black and White or in Color, and have the Show Dates, Show Location, and guild contact information. They also have a peek at a couple of the Subway Series raffle quilt blocks.
The bookmarks are a perfect size — approximately 2" x 5" — and there are eight bookmarks on a sheet. Print a page and cut out the bookmarks. The black and white version has guides for cutting. Please print as many as you can, and distribute them wherever you can!

President's Challenge Announced — Landmarks of New York
Posted: May 16, 2010 – Guild President Paula Kenney has announced her challenge topic for the upcoming show. Her challenge — Landmarks of New York — complements our Subway Series Raffle Quilt and presents unlimited possibilities for our creative and energetic membership. We can't wait to see the results! Show Budget Approved by Membership
Posted May 9, 2010 – The guild membership approved the 2011 Show Budget at their May 9, 2010 guild meeting. Members may download copies of the budget (see the Show Documents section on below).
2011 Show Co-Chairs Announced
Posted: Jan 11, 2010 – We will be having a show in 2011! Mindy Wexler-Marks, Lisa Kehrle and JoAnn Gatch have all volunteered to co-chair the show. We had over 50 members attend our initial meeting on January 9, 2010, and we have filled many of the crucial committee chairs. However, it is NOT too late to volunteer to co-chair one of the committees. Please plan to come to the next 2011 Quilt Show Meeting (details below). The behind-the-scenes show preparations are lots of fun and our co-chairs can use your help!
