Empire State Quilters

I must say, the best ideas are developed when time is short.  When I was told about this challenge, the ideas began to whirl about in my head.  I then tought, well time is of the essence, so lets keep it simple.  My favorite color is purple and eggplant was the first thing that came to mind.  I then saw images of a dancing eggplant on my brown scraps of cherry wood that I was working with...and Ms. Eggplant Brown was born.  I did decide to leave out the eyes, mouth and hands...smiles
