This started as a black and white color study which I made into a stamp memorializing my father, who was a philatelist.  It as the genesis for the page of stamps honoring other members of my family.  I have combined thread p ainting and raw edge qpplique.  The background fabric is tea dyed.  All the other fabrics are commercial.  Each "stamp" is trimmed with ribbon.  They are basedon stamps from the 1922 Regular issues.  I have included family stories relating to each picture where available.
