Stone Soup Quilt by Julia Detar and friends. This quilt will be raffled in February 2009, and the proceeds will go toward purchasing food for All Soul's Unitarian Universalist Church's Monday Night Hospitality program. The Monday Night Hospitality soup kitchen serves a three course meal to about 400 hungry people in Manhattan every Monday night. The people come from all backgrounds and all ages — young children to the elderly. Julia had many friends who contributed blocks for this quilt. |
