This quilt was part of a Reader's Challenge to Let Out Your Inner Animal in Quilting Arts magazine (April/May 2010 issue). Sue's caption reads: I wish my inner animal was something exotic and flamboyant, but the truth is that I'm much more like a tortoise. As a quilter, I am always the slowest in the class. however, I generally get projects finished (usually ahead of schedule — even for this challenge) and am shy about showing my work.
