Empire State Quilters

Machine appliquéd, machine quilted.  35" x 34"
Intrigued by both medallions and trapunto, I decided to give them both a try. The center appliqué was made using the old paper doll technique and the remaining appliqués were derived from it. This piece truly tested my machine quilting skills, as it is densely quilted.
