Adriana Martinez began quilting in 1998 when a friend invited her to a quilting meetings in Newark, New Jersey. She took a Log Cabin workshop and after that first meeting she became a member. In the following year Andriana took her first Crazy Quilt workshop at City Quilter with Leslie. She was HOOKED FOREVER! Adriana simply LOVES the embroidery and embellishing process. She also has taken every class that Anna Faustino has taught at Empire Quilter as well as many classes at City Quilter. Adriana is currently a member of Quilters of Color Network in New York as well as Empire Quilters. To top it all off, Adriana is also a kindergarten teacher. Quilting helps her de-stress from her work. It is the best therapy in the world! |
