I like to spend time in gardens. I wanted flowers to be the focus of my crazy quilt. I particularly enjoyed the hand stitching. The quilt was almost entirely constructed, sewn, embroidered and embellished by hand. I made two trips to India and I was influenced by the vibrancy of the colors I saw there, as well as by the patterns and textures of Asian fabrics.
