Gallery - President's Challenge
Landmarks of New York
As a complement to our 2011 Raffle Quilt Subway Series, guild President Paula Kenney challenged guild members to create quilts representing Landmarks of New York. The subject was to be a recognizable place or thing, otherwise that place or thing should be obvious in the title of the piece. Quilters could use any media — but the entries had to be quilted items. They could incorporate beads, buttons, paint — imagination was the limit! The quilts could be no larger than 18" by 22". Guild members were not required to have their quilts considered for a ribbon or award (judged).
