Gallery - April 2008 - Diane Harris
Diane Harris has been a member of Empire Quilters for approximately three years. She had a long history of sewing before she found quilting. Diane started sewing in the 7th grade with a circle skirt, zipper, and waistband. She's been hooked on sewing ever since then! Diane stopped sewing for about 20 years to focus on her four children. She discovered The City Quilter and has been quilting ever since. Diane creates art quilts, wearable art, and fabric to art pieces.
Diane's presentation was terrific! Her quilts all sparkle, and Diane insists that quilting should be light and fun. Whenever she approaches a project, she tries to "step it up a notch or two (or three!)."
